Another young Welsh jockey who turned his back on rugby at 16, Jack Tudor had an early claim to fame when his mount Potters Corner – a horse, part-owned by Welsh Rugby Union legend Johnathan Davies, who had given the jockey a career highlight when landing the 2019 Welsh Grand National – was the winner of the 2020 ‘Virtual Grand National’, a computer simulated race that ITV turned into a major NHS fundraiser as the covid pandemic forced the abandonment of all racing. Has settled in well to his role as stable jockey to David Pipe, having taken over in April 2023 from the retiring Tom Scudamore. 

Biggest win this season: King Turgeon in the Grand Sefton Handicap Chase at Aintree
